Promise of an escape from the snowy tundra in favor of a "tropical paradise" is enough to convince me to opt for ocean hues - even if they're not Pantone's official 2010 color of 15-5519 turquoise.

I never thought of myself as a turquoise person........but my studio is getting painted next week in this delicious and uplifting colour. I hope I am right!
ReplyDeleteTurquoise? About 0.001% of people look good in turquoise. I am not one of them.

I am a long time lover of turquoise, glad it's getting it's moment in the sun!
ReplyDeleteI adore those pumps, I'll be on the lookout for the $50 versions ;)
I'm absolutely in love with this color - it reminds me of Tiffany's! Unfortunately I own nothing of this shade - must change that ASAP!! :)
ReplyDeleteLove Pantone and it'd array of colors. Despite the specific color #, it can also be varied by tones and saturations. I LOVE the color and agree it might be helpful in this year 2010 - it should be calming and soothing, and a bit of Tiffany blue never hurt anyone!

The Joan & David pump is very pretty. Turquoise is such a great color. Thanks to my pack rat nature, I'll be able to go back through my "archives" from 3 or 4 yrs ago (turquoise was a color of the moment then too) and pilfer some things from there.

Love this color, reminds me of the simplicity of a turquoise necklace making a statement as the one on Eva Mendes at last years Golden Globes. Thank you for the lovely share.
