I don't have to tell you that clogs are making a strong resurgence in the sartorial realm. With wooden platforms, supple leather and nail head details, I can see the appeal. Miu Miu's clog is undeniably luxurious - but has a $495 price tag that not many of us can justify. Luckily, retailers are beginning to release versions inspired by our runway favorites. Steve Madden's pair retains the flavor the luxe version with the curved leather details, but opts for a nude-colored leather that will elongate legs. Will you save or splurge?
I'd also like to take a moment to thank Bren of Chasing Beauty for the Stiletto Award! If you haven't read her blog yet, what are you waiting for? Bren has a knack for singling out amazing beauty products to try.
Rain clouds blanketed Southern Wisconsin on Saturday, leaving me with only one option: take stock of the kitchen cupboards, then take to the stove.
With mountains of sugar and lumps of butter, oatmeal cookies were just the "healthy" treat I was looking for.
I did add raisins as a healthy complement to the oatmeal - just before offsetting the cookie's redeeming attributes with chocolate chips in both milk chocolate and white chocolate.
The lumps of cookie dough tasted just as good as they look. Raw eggs be damned; nothing comes between me and a morsel of brown sugary, creamy batter.

The dawn of spring brings with it a flood of wedding invitations - and the perfect excuse to choose a candy-colored frock for this year's celebrations.
A dress with a cascading silk ruffle, and Grecian-inspired twists at the shoulders.
And a sweetly-alluring back.
There are some gorgeous statement rings by Sparkling Sage on Gilt right now, like the dumortierite and tiger's eye versions (above) for only $24 each. I can't decide on which one I love more.

Trips to Target in search of the retailer's latest designer collaboration have become part of my routine - and today was testament to that. Only a few pairs of Cynthia Vincent footwear remained on the nearly-destitute shelf.
My heart was set on the ballet flats with the modernized-technicolor-tribal print, but they sold out online just hours after their debut - and I didn't spy them on the store shelf. To ease my woes, I took a chance on the gladiator wedge.
But my favorite part of the purchase is the packaging: a sunshine yellow box with silver writing. Last year I picked up a pair of Cynthia Vincent shoes and gushed over the cheerful dust bag, so it was a delight to see the color scheme repeated on the boxes.

The Liberty of London returns must be making their way back to Target. I spotted this blouse on a lonely rack.

And let's face it, it looks oh-so-cute with the Liberty of London mug!

Sweets have inspired me before, so it's probably not surprising that I'm craving crystalline clusters reminiscent of an old-fashioned favorite: rock candy.

One of my most beloved sartorial items is this vintage dress from my mother's closet circa 1970. I doubt my mom expected her daughter to cherish it - and the cocktail stain at the hem - nearly 40 years later.
Once my boyfriend's house is renovated, I plan to host a summer party on the patio wearing this dress, chandelier earrings and bare feet.
Spruce up your kitchen with a set of towels in one of the following designs: tree, octopus (my favorite), kettle or lighthouse.

I'm a sucker for baubles, so you can imagine my delight when I learned these earrings were on their way to me from Susi D. Jewelry (courtesy of a giveaway hosted at The Beauty File). The length of these earrings is uber flattering and the black spinel stone clusters look like micro meteorites - indulging my slightly-nerdy side.
The second package comes from Foxes and Robbers (thanks to a giveaway partnership with Eyeliah of Style Symmetry). Each gift tag is meticulously handmade and undeniably charming. I've already affixed one to a bridal shower gift I'm delivering this weekend!
April showers bring cheerful wellies - perfect for puddle jumping. (And you thought the seasonal sprinkles lead to May flowers.)

In grade school, I coveted Lisa Frank stationery, pens, pencils, Trapper Keepers, and especially stickers. So, you can imagine my glee when I discovered these Nine West pumps. Lisa Frank would be proud.
