Falling For You

Mid-July marks a frustrating period on the sartorial calendar: I'll overheat if I wear anything more than a filmy dress, yet I'm daydreaming about fall's lush textures. I don't want to jump the gun, but J.Crew's fall 2010 look book has me itching for artful layers of sequins, wool, leather, and piles of baubles - oh my! It hasn't taken long to compile an autumnal wish list:

    I LOVE those clogs!! And the driving gloves, so stylish! Too bad there really isn't a need for driving gloves in SoCal, but I always love the look of them.

    Urgghhh!!! It has been so very hot out lately, it is all we can do but dream about Fall and dreamy layers. But for now...I, too, will be wearing as little as possible in my feable attempt to stay cool :)

    Autumn weather depresses me because I know it's only getting colder, but I can't help but admit that for me, Fall clothes are the cutest clothes to wear all year! And you've put together another remarkable outfit, as per usual :)

    Ahh! I haven't even had one day to layout at the beach yet. It's been muggy and overcast for most of the summer. I'm wishing for an INdian Summer. Sorry - but I want to live in sandals and bikinis for as long as I can.
