G.I. Jane

An unexpected - albeit welcome - side effect of this blog has been pinpointing personal style trends. In fact, it wasn't until after snapping photos did I realize that today's outfit is essentially the dressier version of the one I posted last Tuesday. It seems that this year's go-to outfit includes army green, topped by black, and adorned with a statement necklace. What's your uniform of choice this fall?

Outfit Notes: Sweater - Gap; Necklaces - J.Crew, Wendy Mink; Skirt - Target (on sale for only $8 in the store); Purse - Banana Republic; Ring - Forever21; Shoes - Nine West

  18. Great look - I love that way you combine all those trends. My uniform this fall is a gray jumper -- which sounds pretty unremarkable but it's chic and ever so comfy!

  20. That skirt is fantastic! You know I love lace. This season I am learning how flattering olive can be on nearly everyone's skintone. I don't know why I never realized this before.
I know what you mean, I realize that I typically underaccessorize. I also have a morphed idea of what looks good/doesn't look good on my body. The photos have really helped shed light on all of that.

Collaboration - yes please! Still saving the turquoise/pearl necklace for you if you still want or new collection piece if you prefer!
