Carefully considering each purchase is a fortunate side effect of a
strict sartorial budget. I've become much more picky of where my money goes - and I've spent an embarrassing amount of time checking every angle in fitting room mirrors. This floaty, chiffon top from H&M was the first item to make the cut this month.
(I'm sure the sales associate was just glad I purchased something after handing back a pile of rejects. But you know what? I love it so much that I've worn it five times since. Don't judge.) Paired with army green shorts and a gold vintage medallion, my summer uniform has transitioned into autumn.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE the blouse...good for you for not just buying every little thing you love and for actually thinking about how you will wear it. I read on another blog that the person will not purchase an item unless they can think of three ways to wear it...sounds like a good rule to me:)

ReplyDeleteYou know I actually feel much better resisting buying lots of stuff, since I started really thinking about my purchases I find I have much more to wear even though I buy much less. The floaty top is lovely and you can layer it up when it gets colder too, great buy x
