Something Wicked This Way Comes

Years ago, I read Gregory Maguire's Wicked and fell in love with the fanciful story. Quite the surprise, considering I was never a huge fan of The Wizard of Oz - much to my mother's dismay, I had always hit the fast-forward button through Dorothy's rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." I had the unexpected opportunity to see the musical last week. It was an enchanted night, from the witch's hats dancing across the lobby ceiling to the performance itself.

    Jessica, you looked so chic for your "Wicked" night out! :) I knew you would love it! Such an epic musical! I was fortunate enough to see Idina Menzel play Elphaba, and it was a performance that I'll never forget!

    Wicked was such a wonderful show, I saw it years ago in NYC and I liked it even more than the book!

    A friend dragged me to see this show last year and, despite all my efforts, I loved it. She had seen it eight times before and vouched for its appeal. She was right; I was wrong. Glad you had the chance to enjoy it.

    I adore that jacket!! You look gorgeous! I wasn't a huge fan of the book Wicked but I've heard the show is great. I know some of the songs and I love them. How exciting that you got tickets unexpectedly! : )
