I was looking forward to Target's collaboration with Tucker, but I was also bracing myself for disappointment. After all, would the mass retailer be able to translate Gabby Basora's luxurious silk prints into a polyester alternative? As many of you already know, the answer is a resounding yes. Better yet, there's an alluring 1970s vibe to many of the pieces - especially when the mosaic-print blouse is paired with flared denim. Now I just need to find that elusive faux fur vest.

Oh this print wasn't at my Target!! I bought the bright floral blouse and cream colored blouse. I was very impressed with the collection as well.

I wasn't so keen on the collab, as I didn't think it brought anything new to the kind of stuff Target already produces. But it's great that Tucker is getting its name out there.

ReplyDeleteAs for the fur vest -- I'm definitely putting one on my list, though a brief search reveals that they are in abundance this fall, I doubt you will have much trouble finding the perfect one.
