There's only a month left until "De-Stressica Vacation 2011," but I'm already coveting luxe lounging and the simplicity of silver jewels. In the meantime, I'm researching our next travel destination: Washington D.C. I'm eager to peruse countless monuments and museums - and even more excited to discover the city's hidden gems. Have you been to the nation's capital? What are your favorite hotspots in the area?

Love the throw pillows. My friend just bought me a dome ring like that.
ReplyDeleteHey! I am so excited to hear you are coming to my city. I have actually written a whole blog post on what to do in DC for another blogger but it has not been posted yet. I could send it to your email if that would be helpful :)
ReplyDeleteLove the parrot pillow cover. so cute.
ReplyDeleteI went to college in D.C. My fave touristy spots are the Spy Museum and the Newseum. Definitely both worth the admission fees. Also, check out Eastern Market on a Saturday morning. You can get all sorts of neat textiles, purses, and other things at the market there. Then, go for brunch at Belga in that neighborhood. My other fave restaurants are Birch & Barley (try the mac & cheese!) and Potenza (great drink menu, hearty Italian, down the street from the White House!).
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hear about your trip!
Ooh love that chemise! Great find, I love a good sale :)
