Favorite Four: Anchored

You'd think that the nautical trend would start to lose some of its appeal over the years, but I'm still as smitten as I ever was. Here are a few Etsy finds I have my eye on:
  1. Address Stamp, LushPrints, $35
  2. Bracelet, ohmyheartkate, $16
  3. iPhone Case, twenty2boutique, $35
  4. Canvas Tote (perfect for the farmers' market!), Whimsybags, $16
Today on Bedknobs & Baubles: another Etsy brand you should know about.

Whale of a Time

After yet another coat of navy paint in the bedroom, Nate and I are assigned with our individual tasks. He's taking care of "manly" duties like electrical work and nailing trim. I'm in charge of decorating - the perfect excuse to acquire Thomas Paul's Moby Pillow. I had wish listed, obsessed over and even posted about this pillow over the last year and it was well worth the wait. Although, truth be told, the pillow is resting comfortably in my living room until I move into his place.

By the Seashore

The major drawback to living in the Midwest is being far, far away from the ocean. Sure we have plenty of lakes to splash in, but it just doesn't compare to salty sea spray and hot white sand.

Fortunately, bringing any of these nautical items home might just tide me over until my next ocean escape.

She Sells Seashells

Once I spy the first crisp white and navy stripes of the year, my heart skips in anticipation of summer.

The nautical trend continues to resurface, but let’s face it, the last thing any of us need is another striped tee shirt. Instead, reinterpret the trend this year with pieces that simply nod toward the sea.
