{ trend spotting } orange & raspberry



I think Punxsutawney Phil was full of it last week when he predicted an early spring. My disgust with this ever-lasting winter has manifested itself in my wardrobe: black sweaters, black skirts, black tights ... you get the idea. But if there's one thing that can pull me out of the doldrums, it's a springtime-ready combination of orange and raspberry.

    Great colors, especially together! I want to wear the top with that skirt and those earrings and prance around in the sun! Oh sun, I miss you.

    I love these together. This is what I wanted for my bridesmaids dresses but JCrew discontinued the colors when I got married!

    I think you are right - the only way to get early spring is to look to my closet.

    That kate spade bag is the cutest. when i saw the girl in the advertisement wearing two at once, i was already wishing for both.

    Phil is a punk. I live in Southern California and have had the worst flur for 4 DAYS (no end in sight), the heat's on 75 and I don't care what anyone says - I'm freezing my butt off. I am so ready for spring, Jessica. Bring on the brights! ps-can you teach me about technology. I would love to learn how to make these wonderful collages you do!

    I like the orange skirt but why am I thinking that I just want it in black. With spring on its way, I have to learn to expand my colour horizons.

    These two colours were my wedding colours!
