{ wear it } bright pants


Bright pants are intimidating and it's hard to invest in a pair when the trend might not be for you. Luckily, Old Navy has a pair of cropped fuchsia trousers you can purchase for a song at $18 (and if you buy them before the end of the day on 11/8/11, you can use the code "ONFRIENDS" for an additional 30% off).

How to wear them? Just add two classic pieces: a tan sweater and a pair of leopard print loafers. Finish the outfit with a handbag you invested in. I like this classic Willis Bag by Coach - and I imagine it'll just get better with age.

    I tried those pants on a few weeks ago. They were marked down to $9 and they. looked. awful. on me! Oh it was bad! I saw American Eagle had some sweet blue and red skinny jeans that I may try out. This curvy girl and that style of trousers are a no go. So sad because they are SO cute!

    Hummm, okay,

    Pink pants from old navy, check.

    Willis Bag aka Station Bag from Coach, check.*

    Leopard flats. I have a pair, but I don't like them, they are very little girl, all canvas and mary jane. I think I need a more womanly style.

    Camel sweater. Hummm. I haven't unpacked my sweaters yet. Lord knows I don't remember what is in there. Have to get back to you on that one.

    Well, almost there.

    *for some reason they changed the name from station to willis, but since mine is from the thrift store, I'm just going to keep calling it the station bag.

    I love the cropped fuchsia trousers. I checked online and it's only $9.99. It sucks because I can't find anything else to buy to get free shipping. Maybe I should just order something and then return it. That's an idea...
