{ friday fancies }


While I was running errands this afternoon, I was bombarded with Christmas music: God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and Jingle Bell Rock. (Okay, sure, I may have wrapped a couple of gifts this afternoon, but I'm still not ready to spend the next two months submersed in holiday cheer.) Thank goodness for the warm weather escape over at Long Distance Loving today. AV has partnered with Lilly Pulitzer for a "My Friday's Fancies" featuring the brand's signature resort wear. Here's what I'd pack in my fantasy suitcase:

    Oh, I know what you mean about the Christmas music. I was grocery shopping tonight and heard it playing at the store. Not to mention I was greeted by a decorated tree when I walked in. All of this was next to the Fall decorations.
    I, too, have a few gifts already wrapped but I'm nowhere near ready for Christmas or even Thanksgiving!

    Your photo of a beach look surprised me because of the weather, though. I could use a warm ocean vacation right now.
