I'm infatuated with Florence Broadhurst prints after being introduced to the Japanense floral design in Kate Spade's spring collection. It also seems that J.Crew may have found inspiration in Broadhurt's designs. The product description for the "fanfare" design states that inspiration was found from a "big, bold seaside graphic on a salvaged-from-the-'60s shirtdress." I suspect the dress was cut from one of Broadhurst's fabrics.

I am a long-time fan of Broadhurst prints! I read a book about her years ago -- she was quite the interesting and mysterious lady! If you are interested, check out "Florence Broadhurst: Her Secret & Extraordinary Lives" By Helen O'Neill :)
