Neutral Territory

By the time you read this, I'll be submersed in strategic planning at our corporate retreat, sneaking quiet moments on the dock to read Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse Five and the September issue of Vogue. I doubt I'll find much sartorial inspiration in the former, so I'm relying on Vogue for autumnal staples - like a camel-colored dress. The feminine silhouette is reminiscent of the 1950s - certainly not an unappealing trait, but I still craved the juxtaposition of youthful accessories.

    I've been known to look at garments and shout "ah! Those seams!"
    This is one of those times -- the bodice looks like it fits you perfectly and that alone makes it gorgeous!!

    Amazing! Love Jeffrey Campbell! I don't know how but their shoes are surprisingly comfortable and easy to walk in, and always so hot!

    Another fantastic ensemble :) I adore a chic dress with pockets! Remember my strategy for escaping your work "escape." Although the September Vogue and a beloved book certainly sounds like a lovely way to spend an afternoon.
